Love Your Network Marketing Company

You should love your network marketing company and promote it as a leader in the industry. You should make others aware of its integrity and passion for its distributors. If you hold the management in high esteem, others will do the same.

However, you cannot pretend here. You must really hold these beliefs. If you are not sincere, others will see it. Be sure that you are involved with a company that you truly hold in high regard. That is the only way to honestly proclaim how great your company is.

This is especially important in the recruiting process. No one wants to join a company when the distributors are only mildly enthusiastic about it. For instance, if you mention that there are a few problems, but no company is perfect, prospects may hesitate to join you.

It IS true that no company is perfect, but I have found one that is darn close, and so have many of you. Be sure to state that company management is quick to respond to any problems and gets them resolved as soon as possible.

Even though there is no perfect company or product, there are many that come about as close as you can get. No one can really ask for more than that. A company that cares about its customers and distributors will still be standing when the others collapse.

Which Network Marketing Business Is For You?

The first step in selecting a network marketing business is deciding which one is for you. What is it that interests you the most? Taking nutritional supplements for better health? What about traveling? Or, maybe health plans for the uninsured or under-insured?

Maybe for some it is finding the perfect scented candle; one which produces little or no soot. For others, it may be selecting the perfect home décor or kitchen gadget. You are sure to find the product that fits your niche.

Once you decide which product or service you want to market, then you compare the different companies in that field. Which management team seems to have the most integrity? Which one tells it like it is without filling you full of hype and false promises?

What compensation plan makes the most sense to you? Does the company offer free training to its new distributors? There is so much to consider. Choose carefully, because this is your new venture, and possibly your new career.

If you make the right choice in the beginning, you will save yourself a lot of time and money. Join the best company for you, and jump in with both feet. Hold nothing back. Give it all you’ve got, and then some.

Are You A Company Jumper?

If you find that you are a company jumper, my advice to you is to put a halt to it right away. You will get nowhere fast. The mere fact that it takes time to build a business is a good enough reason. If you spend a little time on this business, then leave it and jump into another, you are just wasting your time (and money).

Determine from the very beginning that you will do your research of all the companies out there. Select the one that really intrigues you and that you will be proud to represent. Check out the management team, compensation plan, etc. Make sure that it is a reputable company with integrity.

The exception here is if you find yourself in a business that you just don’t like, or you find that the company is corrupt in some way. By all means, get out fast and be more selective the next time. The key to becoming profitable in network marketing is to STOP surfing. Refuse to join the “next big thing”. Don’t even consider joining another company.

Make up your mind that you will be loyal to your chosen company and will promote it enthusiastically. Use the system already in place and work, work, work until you see results.

There are some great companies out there. You have a lot of choices. Do you get excited about nutritional products, home décor, candles, travel, legal or medical plans? Find the product that excites you the most and that you can be passionate about.

Your Law of Averages and Time

Time has a way of improving your law of averages in your network marketing business. As you continue to learn the business, your learning curve will improve, and along with it, your law of averages will also improve. More and more people, over time, will join you.

More people will become aware of your business and products, and hopefully, your sales will eventually pick up. In the beginning, nobody knows about you and your new business. You spread the word, either by talking to friends and family, placing ads, writing articles, participating in forums, placing a web decal on your vehicle, setting up a booth at a flea market or craft fair, hosting home parties, etc.

Each and every day, as you work to build your business, the law of averages is working for you. You will not be able to see the changes right away, but over time, you will realize that all the steps you took worked together to build your business.

The hard part is getting past those early stages. It may seem as if nothing is working, or you may think that you are doing something wrong. If you follow the advice of seasoned networkers, do what they do, and keep plugging along, you will eventually become successful in network marketing.

Be At Peace With Your Current Circumstances

In order to be at peace with your current circumstances, you must be grateful for what you have while you strive for more. Being at peace does not mean that you just accept things as they are. It means that you have an attitude-of-gratitude even though you have not accomplished everything you hope to.

In my network marketing business it is easy to become frustrated. This business takes a lot of hard work and patience. There have been times when I just wanted to forget it and do something else. I certainly have not always been grateful for my circumstances.

That can be hard to do when others around you are seeing great success. I truly am happy for others in my company who are doing well and making a lot of money, but envy sometimes comes creeping in, too. It is normal for us to question ourselves and wonder why this is working so well for others.

Sometimes it is because of dumb luck, or maybe the methods they are using just work better. There is so much trial and error involved. I finally learned to use only the methods that I truly enjoy. That made a difference in how I looked at this endeavor. It suddenly became fun.

I finally realized that even though I am not yet successful in this business, I can still be at peace and enjoy life. I will continue to take action every day in an effort to build my network marketing business, but I will also be grateful for my life as it is now.

Be True To Yourself

You should be true to yourself in network marketing. It is a mistake to try to be somebody you’re not. I know this first-hand, because I made this mistake early on. I took all the recommendations of my company and tried to implement each and every method they taught.

I considered doing fundraisers, setting up a booth at a craft fair, placing door hangers on my neighbors’ homes, and home parties. I used to cringe at the very thought of each and every one of these business ideas, but I thought that I must try them anyway.

Boy, was I wrong. If I had followed through with these things, I would have quit early on. I would have been so miserable that it just would not have been worth it. I would have thrown in the towel and decided that this candle business I was so excited about was just not for me after all.

Thank goodness I began to read articles from some of the seasoned networkers who suggested that I do things MY way. These articles showed me that I can keep my own personality, continue to be who I am with all my likes and dislikes, and still succeed in this business.

Remember to be true to yourself, do things your way, and let others do the same. Never try to convince your team partners that they are missing the boat if they do not try the methods that you use. Let them be true to themselves, too.
